Final steps

I just need to put some finishing touches on my outline (rough draft), and it will be ready to turn in tomorrow. Practice is going very well, and our music is coming right along.

Great Start

The trumpet ensemble started Rehershal this Monday and we picked the pieces we are going to be playing. Mr. Groves helped start the rehearsal, but starting next week it will be run only by me. We had a very successful practice and we will be playing 3 pieces of music at one of the concerts for normal symphonic band. I look forward to practicing more and fully learning the pieces of music.

Capitalization on Ideas

I now have the members of the trumpet ensemble and we will begin practice on Monday. We will also be playing at the spring concert. This will be a great way to show how hard we have worked on learning our music.

New Ideas

No one came to get the trumpet lessons today, so while I was thinking of what to do, Mr. Groves came up with the idea of a trumpet, or even brass ensemble. This idea seems much more fun and beneficial to me, seeing as mr. groves said he would even play in the ensemble with me. This sounds like a great idea and I will start planning it out now.

Proposition Complete

I proposed giving the 6th grade trumpets to the 6th grade trumpets today.

Several of them said they would like to take lessons. The next step will be to plan out the lessons and plan how i will do the lessons with the set number of people taking them.

Proposal to Band Kids

This upcoming Tuesday I will be proposing the idea of free trumpet lessons to the 6th grade band kids. Hopefully they will want to do them, but if not I will go to the 7th Grade, then 8th Grade. Hopefully none of that will be necessary.

First Steps

Now I have a proposal for my Personal Project. I will be helping/tutoring trumpets in the middle school band that need help for basics or techniques for trumpet. With the help of my mentor, Mr. Cirlot, I will soon have a list of students or dates/times of tutoring.
